Do you cater for small dinner parties?
Red Radish initially started catering at intimate dinner parties on the French Riviera and Louise still spends a huge part of her time cooking for small groups in private rental villas and homes.
How does villa catering work?
We will arrive and cook you and your guests lunch or dinner. We usually set the table using your own or the rental villa's equipment although we can of course rent you ours if you prefer something special. We can also arrange flowers and candles.
Dinner usually consists of canapés followed by three or four courses. We agree the menu by email in advance and can cook absolutely absolutely anything you would like.
We generally do lots of preperation in our kitchens before hand and depending on your menu arrive an hour or two before service. It is helpful if we can arrive to a clean and tidy kitchen with an empty dishwasher. We usually leave after serving dessert and with the kitchen in the same tiday and clean state that we found it. Depending on numbers we may bring a waiter or waitress.
What type of food can we expect?
Baically we can create whatever you feel like eating! Be it Provencal classics, dishes to suit the season, good old fashioned British or maybe some Asian fusion we can prepare whatever you want.
You can see our Provencal Classic menu here.
Do we all have to eat the same?
Generally the costs shown are based on everyone eating the same dishes, however we can vary this according to numbers and price so that there are a few different selections. We need to know this in advance though please.
Do you cater for children?
We do not have a specific children's menu but having five children ourselves means that we pretty much know what they like to eat. We can offer lots of choice and try to everything as healthy as possible. We can also often feed the children a little earlier so you can put them to bed and then enjoy your lunch or dinner in peace.
How much does a Private Dinner Party Cost?
Costs can vary greatly depending on the menu and also numbers of guests. This is a guide based based on three courses from our typical Provencal Menu.
- 6 Guests: €65
- 8 Guests: €55
- 10 Guests: €45
- 12 Guests: €35

What is a Supper Club?
Secret supper clubs or 'pop-up' restaurants are all the rage in the world's leading cities. They can be loosely be defined as 'underground home bistros'. People with an interest in fine food invite you into their home or to a random, unusual venue via a social networking site or through word of mouth.
They are a way to enjoy excellent food for very 'non-restaurant' prices and it's also a great chance to meet new people - working equally well whether you are on your own or just looking for somewhere different to celebrate your birthday with a bunch of friends!
How does payment at Supper Clubs work?
In broad terms you pay what you feel the food and the lunch or dinner was worth but often we give a guide price and sometimes take payment before the event so as to avoid 'no-shows' and late cancellations on events which have had a long waiting list. Costs are generally between €20 and €50 per person depending on the food and venue.
