Tour catering in Scotland at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow

The SSE Hydro is almost definitely one of Scotland’s most iconic arenas and it’s location in Glasgow on the site of the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre made it a firm favourite on our 2014 schedule. The arena was officially opened by a Rod Stewart concert in 2013 with a capacity of 13,000, and has been home to prestigious events such as the MTV awards and the BBC Sports Personality of the Year and we were chuffed to be working there for a week on a recent tour.

Over the last 18 months we have been lucky enough to provide tour artist and production catering across 25 countries and about 75 cities including Arenas in Amneville, Nice, Nantes, Athens Olympic Stadium, Rome, Turin, Milan, Geneva, Basel, Barcelona, Lisbon, Minsk, Herning, Wroclaw, Malmo, Glasgow, Sheffield, Birmingham, Dublin 02, London 02 and Royal Albert Hall, Manchester, San Sebastian, Santiago, Grenada, Las Palma, Bilbao, Palma, Graz, Vienna, Leipzig, Stuttgart, Innsbruck, Salzburg, Munich, Cologne, Frankfurt, Dortmund, Mannheim, Malaga, Zaragoza, Seville, La Coruna, Brussels, Toulouse, Strasbourg, Toulon, Montpellier, Lyon, Rouen, Berlin, Numburg, Hanover, Berlin 02, Hamburg, Luxembourg, Thessaloniki, Zurich, Rome, Bologna, Florence, Pesaro, Paris, Lille, Tenerife. The list continues to grow on a weekly basis but we will remember our time up at the SSE Hydro for a long time to come and cant wait to get back to Scotland soon.

Catering at Electric Picnic Festival for Casa Bacardi

I wanted to drop you all a note to say a massive thank you to everyone who worked at the Electric Picnic Festival in Dublin this year. It was another big step on in terms of production value and event experience and everyone was on-it during the prep and on site. I have nothing but praise for the entire team to pull together a great show when tested by weather/press day schedule/budget! I have had a great response from the client to pass on his thanks to all concerned.

I also wanted to drop you a note to say thanks for the great catering, it was a pleasure as normal. You have no idea how excited we all were that we were getting a proper dinner on the Thursday night, then for it to be pork belly what else do you need!

Thanks so much for everything. You guys certainly got the whole team smiling.

We Miss Red Radish on Tour!

Hello!

Cirque du Soleil are now back on tour after 6 seeks off. We are with Dralion in Qatar for another week and then off to an arena in Lebanon.

I just wanted to drop a few lines just to let you know that everyone at Cirque du Soleil misses you guys and the Red Radish catering on tour!

I’m so anxious to see you all back in Athens in a couple of weeks and can’t wait to eat your delicious food again!

A Cannes Lions Festival Party in the Pool!

I just wanted to say a massive thank you for catering for our party during Lions Festival in Cannes. It was a HUGE success.

Your team were so lovely, the food was amazing – we got tonnes of compliments and most importantly we didn’t lose our villa rental deposit for the first year ever… haha!

Tour Catering in nearly every European Arena

One thing about winning a fantastic tour crew and artist catering contract like Cirque du Soleil is that it has certainly given us the opportunity to cater in a vast number of arenas and stadiums right across Europe in a very short space of time. Two simultaneous tours also meant that we have to be mega-organised with our tour planning as we often found ourselves loading our catering equipment into stadiums like the Minsk Arena in Belarus whilst also setting up a virtual field kitchen the same day nearly 4000 kilometers away in say, the Jose Maria Martin Carpena in Malaga, Spain. It has been great fun moving every week and catering in iconic stadiums like England’s 02 and the Royal Albert Hall must surely be every tour catering companies’ dream!

English speaking Catering company in Monaco

Another satisfied customer; this time from a balcony catering event at the Monaco Grand Prix. The client was looking for an English speaking Catering company (we speak French too by the way!) on the French Riviera who could help them create the perfect party for their guests. Red Radish sent along a private chef and hostesses who did just that!

Second to None Crew and Cast Catering – The Best we have ever used!

Red Radish provided my crew and cast catering on the feature film “Dom Hemingway” and craft services on high-end photo-shoots for Balmain and Isabel Marant’s Spring/Summer 2013 campaigns.

Each production presented us with extremely difficult logistical challenges, but the Red Radish team stepped up to the plate (pun intended) on each occasion.
