Kitchen Porter

The heart of any great kitchen, our KPs are hardworking, organised, and not afraid to get their hands dirty. If that sounds like you, and you enjoy working as part of a fast paced, but friendly team then read on…

The role will involve supporting our experienced team of chefs in the kitchen by washing up, keeping the kitchen environment spotlessly clean and tidy, and some basic food preparation. You might also be asked to lend a hand to load in and load out equipment, collect supplies, and generally be an all-round helpful pair of hands so lots of energy and a positive outlook is essential.

We’ll be asking you to get some certificates, if you haven’t already, including a Level 2 Food Hygiene and a Level 2 Health and Safety. We want to make sure that not only does everyone enjoy their job but that they’re safe doing it too.

This summer season is our busiest yet and we need to get some kitchen porters on board who can really lend a hand in our kitchens. We’ll be at over 35 big name festivals including Glastonbury, Boomtown, Wilderness, Lovebox and many more so we need someone who is committed to working more than one festival with us. There are plenty of people looking to gain experience so if you are looking to maybe work just one festival weekend then you are probably not for us. We are also looking to work with people looking to get experience and money rather than three months free partying. Sorry to sound boring but we have a very successful business to run 😉

Please bear in mind that catering in general and particularly festivals are not the best-paid jobs in the world. Although it will be great fun and experience PLUS you will of course be well fed and watered along the way.

To apply, drop us a line at [email protected] with your full name, phone number, an up-to-date CV, and your availability for this summer season.

Hope to see you in a festival field sometime soon!
